ELLA K Parfums is a luxury fragrance house founded by renowned master perfumer Sonia Constant — one of the few female creators to establish her own perfume maison. Inspired by legendary female explorers like Ella Maillart and Alexandra David-Neel, ELLA K embodies the spirit of boldness, inner journeys, and a love for the unknown.

At its heart, ELLA K celebrates freedom, curiosity, and transformation, blending poetic storytelling with olfactory artistry. Each fragrance is a voyage — a sensory memory of faraway places and personal discoveries, captured in a bottle inspired by the lens of Sonia’s camera.

The brand’s dragonfly emblem, designed by Japanese artist Senjiro Nakata, symbolizes metamorphosis, courage, and emotional depth, reflecting the soul of the collection. ELLA K redefines luxury as a quiet, timeless experience — rich in symbolism, culture, and subtle emotion.

SONIA’s INSPIRATION - For Orchid K, I wanted to create a fragrance around this black vanilla orchid discovered in Monte Rosa in Italy, which I associated with the flowers surrounding Lake Como, the magnolias, jasmines and oleanders of wild roses... I added the traditional luxurious notes of vanilla cannoli and marshmallows served like a cloud at the tip of a skewer during our romantic dinners. Then, I sealed the fragrance with the woody, majestic notes of the centuries-old sequoias lining the shores, and wisps of incense escaping from the heavy doors of nearby churches.
