A tryst between earth and the heave

To the north-west of Kyoto, a majestic bamboo forest links the Earth to the sky above. Sagano invites the visitor to join the bamboo and luxuriate in the poetry surrounding it.

SONIA’s INSPIRATION - I wanted to describe the ambience surrounding the bamboo forest: the countless shades of green and the gentle to-ing and fro-ing of the bamboos that seem to caress the sun’s rays like so many subtle sighs.
