An unapologetically dark, hypnotic descent into the subterranean realm of Pluto, ruler of the Roman underworld. Beyond the domain of the fallen, Pluto governed the deep earth—a secret, primordial kingdom overflowing with rare minerals, rich oils, and uncut jewels gleaming in absolute darkness. Created as an olfactory duality alongside Persephone’s Patchouli, this composition explores the earth’s most mysterious raw materials through shadows as deep and tactile as black panther fur.

The descent begins with a kinetic spark of black and pink pepper, brightened by zesty mandarin and bathed in the resinous warmth of golden cistus. In the heart, dense, camphoric patchouli fuses with a commanding leather accord and the clove-tinted spice of carnation—conjuring thick, glossy leaves forcing their way through ancient cavern walls. As it reaches its deepest strata, the scent turns profoundly animalic and magnetic: dark cistus labdanum and sweet, balsamic styrax intertwine with the primal warmth of castoreum, leaving an indelible, smoldering trail on the skin.
